Crystal Hammon
I am a writer with a passion for helping businesses spot great stories and tell them in an honest, human way.

As an accredited business communicator, I have consulted and written content for healthcare systems, Fortune 500 manufacturers, small businesses, consumer and trade publications, professional services, financial services and non-profits. In every role, there’s been a common thread: asking, searching, finding, analyzing, interpreting and sharing information in a way that helps people.

I’ve spent most of my life steeped in writing and communication planning, but I have also worked in customer service, sales, management and librarianship. It’s a career that prepared me to appreciate the nuances of communicating and getting along with all kinds of people and organizations.

I received my bachelor’s degree in public relations from Indiana State University and my master’s in library science at Indiana University. I have also served on the board of the Indianapolis Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators and the Fashion Arts Society at the Indianapolis Museum of Art and as a mentor to a dynamic group of high school girls at my church.

After I clock out, I’m a registered yoga instructor, rabid bibliophile, golf fanatic and aficionado of vintage clothes and accessories. No pets, no plants, no children except for the ones I happily borrow from friends and family.
